In Japan there are many kinds of “Kyabakura”. These are karaoke bars where the clientele pay for time with an escort. In certain areas of Tokyo, there are venues which can only be afforded by a manager, a director, or someone else in the upper echelons. Clients are often taken to such venues for entertainment.
